Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS)

In addition to our Sunday gatherings, we are delighted to offer Wednesday afternoon Catechesis of the Good Shepherd session for children ages 3 years - kindergarten.

This midweek gathering is not meant to replace Sunday Catechesis but to give children an additional opportunity to spend unhurried time in the Atrium (room 106)—time to reflect, explore, and deepen their relationship with Jesus. Many of last year’s students shared that they wished they could linger longer—now they can! This rhythm also reflects the practice of many Catechesis of the Good Shepherd programs across the country, where children attend more than once each week.

We warmly encourage families to participate in both Sunday and Wednesday Catechesis so that children may be rooted more deeply in the life of Christ through prayer, wonder, and discovery.

Following each Wednesday session, students and their families are invited to dinner at 6:15 p.m. The meal is offered with a freewill donation and provides a wonderful opportunity to connect, encourage one another, and grow together as a church family.
