What to Expect
Entering
Our church has many doors, but the easiest ways to enter the building for a Service are through the Washington Blvd. or Wayne St. entrances. We offer free parking in our Washington Blvd. lot or on the north side of Wayne Street, west of the church. Ushers will be waiting to greet you, answer any questions you might have, and offer Service bulletins and weekly Announcement sheets.
If you are visiting, you will be able to follow along and participate in the service with just the printed bulletin. It will walk you through the order of the service, indicate when to stand and when to sit, and display printed prayers, responses, and hymns. If Communion is being offered, you are welcome to participate and receive the Lord’s supper. We even have gluten-free wafers, if that is your choice.
Service
Our services aim to glorify Jesus Christ, through traditional music, times of prayer, Scripture reading, and a message from one of our pastors. Our services last approximately 1 hour.
Attire
You are welcome to wear whatever you're comfortable in, whether it be casual or more dressed-up. We won't make you wear a visitor badge. Our pastors wear traditional vestments (robes) and usually you will see younger people serving as acolytes (candle lighters) or assistants who also wear robes.
Families
We welcome you and your family, no matter how big or small, old or young!
From 10 - 10:45AM before the worship service, children who are in Pre-K t-Grade 5 are invited to hear a Bible story and participate in fun faith enriching activities. Pre-K and Kindergarten students can be dropped off upstairs in room 212. Elementary students will have Sunday school upstairs as well in room 210. You may pick your child/ren up at the Sunday School room at 10:45 or a teacher will walk your child/ren into the service to sit with you.
Every Sunday school teacher has been screened with a background check.
While your child is attending Sunday school we invite you to gather with other parents and caregivers to connect, socialize, and take a break. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.
Connect With Us
You will have an opportunity to fill out a guest information card found in the pews, but it is 100% optional. If you have questions or want more information on who we are, what we do, or how to become a member, please reach out to info@trinityenglish.org. We hope your first experience at Trinity English Lutheran Church is enjoyable and uplifting!

You’re a member - now what?
We are delighted that you are part of our congregation!
While there is no “right” way to worship or experience fellowship, we do have a few suggested expectations for our members.
Serve
➛ Serve within Trinity or commit to deliberate acts of kindness throughout the week
We are called to serve others in the name of God, carrying out Christ’s mission. We strive to meet the needs of the people in our local community and beyond.
Study & Pray
➛ Through study and prayer, we can better understand God’s plan for us.
Trinity offers Bible Studies throughout the year, as well as weekly prayer opportunities through Zoom or by visiting our Church during Open Doors hours. By engaging in prayer, we strengthen our community with God and each other.
You are called to worship in the ways that work best for you.
Your membership will not be rejected or removed if you do not strictly follow the above expectations; they are meant as guidelines and ideas for how you can engage with us. We understand that each person’s journey with God and God’s teachings is unique, and we want to offer opportunities to help you grow your faith.
Worship
➛ Worship each weekend, either via our Livestream or in-person (if possible)
Worship allows us to come together to give praise and thanks to God as a community. As we do so, we come to know God more fully and we experience His love for us in the everyday.
Give
➛ Trinity is only able to do what we do because of the gifts of our generous members.
While not required in order to be a part of the Church, please consider giving regularly, if you are able. If your income does not allow for financial gifts, gifts of service, like volunteering, are another great way to deepen your relationship with Christ and our congregation.
