Become a Member

If you’d like to make Trinity your church home, consider becoming an official member. As a member, you can:

  • Vote on important matters, like calling new pastors or supporting major projects

  • Take an active leadership role in church life

  • Help guide Trinity’s mission and ministries

New member classes are offered throughout the year. If you’re interested contact Deacon Mary Lasits at mlasits@trinityenglish.org.

ELCA Lutherans acknowledge one baptism, so if you’ve already been baptized into a Christian tradition, you’re baptism is recognized. If baptism has not been a part of your faith journey yet and you are interested, learn more about getting baptized at Trinity.


  • On the national level, Trinity English Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).

    On a local level, Trinity is a member of the Indiana Kentucky Synod.

    • Start by filling out the membership form which will ask a few general questions about your contact information.

    • We highly encourage attending a Trinity 101 class. This single class is offered twice a year for an hour on Sunday morning at 9 a.m. Check our Event Page for the next offering.
