Family Ministries at Trinity

At Trinity, we believe every person, and every family, belongs.

We create space for children, youth, and families of all kinds to grow in faith, build relationships, and support one another. Through worship, learning, service, and shared experiences, we walk alongside families in every stage of life.

Infant–Kindergarten

From the very beginning, your child is welcome at Trinity. We offer a variety of opportunities for children to learn, grow, and experience faith in ways that are engaging and meaningful.

Sunday Mornings & Wednesday Nights

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) for 3-year-olds through Kindergarten

  • Sundays from 9:45–10:25 a.m. — Room 212, also called the Atrium

  • Wednesdays from 4:45–6:15 p.m. – Room 212, also called the Atrium

Nursery & Parent Lounge

  • If you need a quiet space to breastfeed, or your toddler just needs to get some wiggles out, visit our Parent Lounge next to the Atrium during the Sunday service. A livestream of the worship service will be playing so you can continue to follow along. We ask that infants through 3-years-old use this space alongside their parents. Children should not be left unattended.

Please note that some programming takes a summer break. If you’d like to learn more, feel free to reach out to our Coordinator of Children’s Ministries Meghan Dohring at mdohring@trinityenglish.org.

Elementary School | 1st–6th Grade

  • Lower Elementary (1st–3rd) — Room 210

E3 Music & Arts Program

Exploring, Experiencing, and Expressing Our Faith Through the Arts is a music and arts program for Kindergarten–6th Grade. Learn more about how to get your child involved.

Vacation Bible School

We warmly invite you to join us for this year’s Vacation Bible School, Project Restoration: Mending God’s World on June 14–18. This special event spans five days and will bring together children, youth, and adults to explore how we can all become agents of restoration in God’s world. Learn more and register.

Faith milestones are intentional, celebratory, and significant life stages that recognize God’s presence and faithfulness in an individual’s life journey. Learn more about First Communion, Scripture Milestone, Confirmation, and Baccalaureate milestones by reaching out to Trinity’s Family Ministries Director Amy Henderson-Hill.

Faith Milestones

Middle School & High School | 7–12th Grade

This season of life can be rocky as our kids are trying to navigate independence. At Trinity, we create space for students to ask questions, build friendships, and explore their faith in a supportive and welcoming community.

Sunday Mornings

Youth Group | 9:30–10:25 a.m. | Room 101
Our youth gather to explore life’s big questions about identity, belonging, and purpose while spending time together in a relaxed environment. Friends are always welcome!

Hope in Action | 9-10 a.m. | Wagenhals

Every third Sunday of the month, our students are encouraged to attend Hope in Action. During this time, people of all walks of life join together to serve a local organization. In the past, we’ve created birthday gift bags for children in foster care, toys for shelter animals, activity boxes for kids who have been hospitalized, among others. This opportunity provides a way for our youth to look outside of themselves and do something for others.

Service Opportunities

In addition to Hope in Action, our youth group has several service opportunities throughout the year, both locally and during summer trips.

Youth Music Opportunities

Our youth are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the life of several music ministries at Trinity.

  • Chancel Choir

  • Steel Drums

  • Handbell Ensemble

If you’re interested in music at Trinity, chat with our Family Ministries Director Amy Henderson-Hill at ahendersonhill@trinityenglish.org.

We stay connected with students beyond high school through care packages, notes, and prayer for college-aged students. If you are interested in starting a young adult group, or interested in volunteering, please contact Amy Henderson-Hill at ahendersonhill@trinityenglish.org.

If you have any questions about Family Ministries at Trinity, how to get you or your child involved, baptism, or all of the above, we are happy to help!
