Christian Nationalism: What is it, and how do we respond?

Christian Nationalism is a political ideology that asserts a country–most often discussed in the context of the United States–is fundamentally a Christian nation and that the government should actively preserve, promote, and enforce Christian values in public life.

In our discussion during Theology Sunday, we talked through a brief history (spoiler: Christian Nationalism has been around for awhile!), how it’s been given a name since the 2016 election, and how we are to respond as Christians.
