In November, we invite you to join Hope in Action for a hands‑on service event supporting Boundless Bags (formerly Blessings in a Backpack) which provides weekend food assistance to students who need it most. We will be coloring beautifully designed cards created by Dawn Pope and writing personal messages of support that will be included in Believe Bags, which are designed to feed a child’s spirit as well as their stomach. Believe Bags include a snack, a small gift and a positive, encouraging message reminding the child that their community believes in their worth, abilities, and dreams.

This month, our Hope in Action team has taken on a significant and meaningful challenge: creating 300–500 cards to brighten children’s weekends and remind them that their community believes in them. To reach this goal, we need volunteers willing to lend their creativity, time, and care. Your creativity and kindness make a real impact.

Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or simply eager to serve, your participation will help uplift students who need comfort, confidence, and connection. All ages are welcome. No artistic experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a heart ready to serve. Whether you can stay the whole time or drop in briefly, every card counts.
