The Year of 2018 was a full one for Trinity English Lutheran Church. In every season and month, on every day, the church life included people nearing the end of life---and Trinity was there, walking with them, bringing hope, comfort and sympathy. People were moving into care facilities or assisted living units---and Trinity was there, bringing communion and fellowship. People were coping with physical and mental illness, changes to their family structures and to their sense of independence. Trinity was there, with notes and cards, altar flowers and prayer shawls, with home-cooked meals and a listening ear. So much of the work of the church happens quietly, in living rooms or at hospital bedsides… and it happens in every season, in every month, on every day. Through all of the stages and ages of life, we are blessings to one another. Deep thanks to all of those whose ministry touched our members and whose lives touched Trinity.
The community of Trinity English supports and sustains one another. If you are interested in becoming involved in any of the ministries (eucharistic ministers, prayer shawls, altar flower delivery, or others) please talk with Pastor Haller for more details.
