Be A Tourist in Your own hometown
Sunday, September 10, 2023
12pm - 5PM
Trinity is one of the many participants in downtown's Be A Tourist In Your Own Hometown. Plenty of activities will be happening inside and outside the church, such as live music, face painting, balloon animals, a petting zoo (yes, the camel will return!), photos by Trinity's steeple, last chance to look at the Icons in Transformation art exhibit and free food (including vegan hot dogs)! Plus, we have a special treat for those who are attending the 10:30 a.m. service. Once the service has concluded, be sure to visit the food tent for your free lunch, as well as a special dessert treat which will only be made available to the service attendees.
There's a new event during Be A Tourist: We’re offering you the view from the base of Trinity’s steeple! Your visit will be commemorated in a photo, but you’ll need to sign up ahead of time. The climb up 73 (narrow, spiral) stairs takes a few minutes, but the view from the outer walkway is quite a vista! Appointments will be made in 20-minute increments, no more than 6 people at a time.
