ASHES TO GO 2023
Since 2017, Trinity has offered the imposition of ashes out in the community on Ash Wednesday, as a way of connecting with people who don't have the schedule or the tradition of attending a traditional Ash Wednesday service. Some years, the weather has been almost springlike. This year, it was not. Nevertheless, 17 hearty souls braved cold, rain, and wind to receive ashes, share in prayer, and receive a handmade pocket prayer square (thanks to Deena and Mark Patten). We continue to appreciate our neighbor, Parkview Field, for hosting the lunchtime opportunity of Ashes to Go. Thanks to everyone who braved the weather!
