A Jazzy Little Christmas featured performers:
Q and the ColdFusion
Q and the ColdFusion is made up of seasoned area jazz musicians that set out on their humble mission to fuse and crossover jazz with popular music in the Ft. Wayne, Indiana area. Led by Saxophonist Quincy Sanders, they eloquently combine jazz harmony, rhythm, improvisation, with the sounds of funk-soul, R&B, latin, and at time reggae. ColdFusion is formally known as the Quincy Sanders Quartet but has evolved to a group that plays beyond jazz standards while appealing to listeners of many genres. Coldfusion is an event band, doing special showcases such as latin jazz, jazz funk shows, are reinventing popular music both instrumentally and with special guest vocalist! This is not a band that just performs standards you will not find them performing weekly at neighborhood bars, but instead you will see them at festivals, breweries, wineries, private parties, and other seasonal events! When you hear ColdFusion, it'll be one experience you'll never forget!
Fatima Washington
In a short time, Fatima Washington went from just another young performer to having her own night at several clubs and restaurants. Fatima has sung background vocals for Trace Adkins while on the Shine On Tour with Martina McBride as well as Michael McDonald to audiences in the thousands. Additionally, she has opened for Isley Brothers, Jagged Edge, After 7, Keith Sweat, Bobby Valentino, the SOS Band, The Whispers, and shared a stage with Tony Award winner Heather Headley. Most recently opening up for Wynonna Judd who called her “the new diva.” In 2011 Fatima released her debut CD “A Part of Me”. This CD has her hits singles “Loving you” and “Follow me.” Out of the studio, she moved from the club scene to special events including the National Anthem for Indiana Pacers, Fort Wayne Mayor’s Ball, Fort Wayne Embassy, Indianapolis Sickle Cell Foundation, Down the Line Concert Series, and several private events
Evan Anderson
Since a young age, Evan has shown a proclivity towards music. Beginning piano lessons at the age of six, he grew up listening to and performing music both in the church and out. Evan began organ lessons as a teenager and served as organist in churches in the Duluth, MN area during high school and played several solo recitals in that region. While in college, Evan was an organist at several churches in the Northfield, MN area. He graduated with a Bachelors of Music in Church Music from St Olaf College in 2019 began working at Trinity as Associate Director of Music shortly thereafter. One of his favorite parts of the position is spending time practicing on one of Trinity's three pipe organs working on new repertoire for upcoming services and concerts. Evan enjoys a wide variety of music, sacred, secular, and in-between; he loves music history and theory as well as discovering new pieces.
