Holy Baptism: Usually, baptisms are celebrated on the last Sunday of the month at the later service, but they are sometimes celebrated outside of the Sunday morning service. A pre-baptism class is offered on the second Saturday of the month and plans for baptisms should be made with a pastor.
Welcome to the Lord’s Table: A special welcome is given in the spring to students who will begin their catechism studies in the fall and have been or will receive the Lord's Supper for the first time then.
Confirmation: Students who have completed catechism affirm their baptism and faith in the Holy Trinity on the third Sunday in May at the 11:00 a.m. service.
Baccalaureate: High school graduates are recognized during the 10:00 a.m. on the first Sunday in June
Marriage: Marriage services are conducted throughout the year. Pre-marital sessions are provided by the pastors and plans for weddings should be made with them.
Healing: A healing service is offered following the 12:05 p.m. Good Friday service in the nave and other healing services can be planned with a pastor.
Celebrations of Eternal Life: Funeral and Memorial Services are times to thank God for the promise of eternal life that is ours in Christ and to remember those who have died. At the time of death, the church should be notified, so that God’s comfort can be offered and arrangements can be made for a service.
Other Life Passages: Services for affirmation of baptisms and marriage vows, blessing of homes, anniversaries and other special occasions in which God’s blessing is sought are provided and preparations should be made with a pastor.
